Shenzhen Sunshine Engineering & Design Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as SEDC) was founded in 1984, and is previously known as Shenzhen Chemical Industry Design Institute under the Ministry of Chemical Industry of China. In 2003, it is converted into a limited company according to the relevant regulations of the National, Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City and approved by China National Chemical Engineering Corporation.At the time of developing design and consulting business, SEDC is also developing EPC business actively in the past 35 years with the concept of continuous innovation. SEDC has set up the following departments: Business Department, General Office, HR department, Financial Department, Project Management Department, Technical Quality Department, Process & Equipment Division, Civil Engineering Division and Utilities Division. SEDC has 82 employees, among which there are 75 engineers in various disciplines.

SEDC has been granted the Grade A engineering design qualification certificates for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry (chemical engineering, storage and transportation of petroleum and chemical products) and Grade A engineering design qualification certificates for construction industry (construction engineering) issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; Grade B engineering design qualification certificate for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries and environmental engineering (water pollution prevention and control engineering, air pollution prevention and control engineering) issued by Guangdong Provincial Housing and Construction Department; Credit certificate of engineering consulting unit issued by Shenzhen Engineering Consulting Association; Pressure pipeline design license issued by the State Administration of Quality Supervision (GB, GC level).

SEDC has rich design experience in fine chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, petrochemical industry, storage and transportation of large-scale petroleum and chemical products, light industry, construction engineering, logistics, environmental protection and other fields, and has a certain market share in China.

SEDC has established QHSE management system and obtained three certificates of quality management system, environmental management system and occupational health and safety management system issued by Universal Certification Centre Co., Ltd.
